    Default I HATE minecraft..

I've spent hours trying to install mods for minecraft. I've watched several youtube videos and followed the steps and NOTHING. It doesn't work. I'm not a novice tech person: I'm helping rebuild a website for a university department, I can code HTML from scratch without using an editing program, I can create MS Access databases and know some SQL. But I can not get the mods to work on our mac... I give up. DS is just going to have to use the game the way the creators made it without modifications created by others.

Ugh. We're just starting to get into mods. So far I've installed the Lego one (on a Mac). My kids keep asking for more! Something about a clown world? That sounds dreadful to me!

ETA: Oh wait, Lego is just a texture pack. I haven't installed any mods yet...

I won't let ds1 get mods. I don't trust downloading stuff from strangers. You can use that excuse.

It's because you are on a Mac.
