I'm looking for a super cute raincoat that is also water-proof. (Is that the correct terminology?)
My current raincoat is water-repellent and it's just not cutting it!! I still feel like a drowned rat
when I'm wearing it!!

This is what I wear though when I know I will really be getting wet http://www.rei.com/product/865132/th...-jacket-womens
Do you mean like a trench? If so, I love my Boden Rainy Day Macs (plural!) Or do you mean a jacket that could also be worn hiking? LL Bean has nice waterproof ones, that are well priced compared to REI.

I am looking at this one for April and May early dog walking and multiple youth sports games. Both the lined and unlined versions.

ETA: I love my Boden Rainy Day Mac but I am not sure it's waterproof. Super cute.

I got this one for camping. The rainy day mac is definitely not the ticket. I've gotten soaked in that one.
