I think we get a "normal" amount of rain. I don't commute/use public transport, so I'm not out in the elements in the Rainy Day Mac for long stretches of time. But for just running around town, walking DDs into school etc, I think the Rainy Day Mac is fine. They do advertise it as "rain resistant" vs "waterproof".

Well thank you! . I got a pretty greenish aqua color that is not currently available. It was on clearance last fall I think.

Found my order. It's called blue pine.

I'd get blue out of the current colors.

Writing to update. I just received the fleece lined Trail Model Rain Coat. I thought the fit would be boxy and unflattering, but it's not bad. Perfect for rainy spring and fall days where a lined rain coat is a must. There are some negative reviews about the fleece lined sleeves. I don't foresee them being a huge problem. Quite the contrary, I am happy the sleeves are lined. It makes the coat much warmer than the Rainy Day Mac.

Just a little FYI, the rainy day macs they sell in the fall are fleece lined, the spring ones aren't.

Glad you like your new coat!

I only have the fleece lined Rainy Day Mac. The sleeves don't have fleece. I have an unlined trench from LLB that I wear in warmer, rainy weather.

PS. I added an avatar so you could see my pup!

Yeah, the Rainy Day Mac does not cut it in really rainy/windy/colder weather. I just ordered the lined llb trail coat in black - since you twisted my arm.

Love that picture of your doggy!

    Super cute doggy. So sweet!

I might have to get the LLB one. I needed something for a Daisy event, and realized I only had my macs when it comes to rain coats. I need something more versatile.
