Default Dansko clogs vs sandals - same sizing?

I have a pair of Sanita clogs which were the original Dansko and I'm wondering if I should order the same size in a sandal (sophie) as I am in the clogs?

    TIA!

In my 20 years of experience in wearing Dansko/Sanito - - i would say yes. I have been a 40 in EVERYTHING I tried. The only problem i ever had was last year - - a pair of closed-toe sandals actually were too narrow in the toe area, they cut into the top of my foot, so i returned them. I have also had a pair be a little too wide which made them slip off too easily.... but I would pretty much say sizing has been consistent for me.

I actually wear a different size in sandals than clogs for sanita/dansko. My closed back clogs are 41 but I wear 40 in sandals.

I would try the shoe first or order two sizes. I ordered a pr a couple wks ago at a local store and was disappointed. I normally wear a 39, well the 39's were too small and the 40's were huge. So, I was unable to find a single pr that fit. I need a 39.5, which they don't make.

I've had good luck with the same size in sandals and clogs. But I was heartbroken a few weeks back to find out that it didn't work with boots. I'd been coveting a discontinued pair for two years and I found them at a B&M store in my normal 38 for over $100 off. Just to find out that a 38 in boots is way too big. Throwing on a thick pair of socks wasn't going to cut it either. I was so bummed.
