    Default Labeling/marking beach toys?

Anyone found a successful way to do this? I tried a sharpie but it wore off after one trip to the beach. We always lose toys or friends accidentally take them. I would like to avoid this if possible. Has anyone tried nail polish or waterproof stickers? Or anything else?? Thanks!

I'd try something like Mabel's labels. I haven't tried them on beach gear but they survive long soaks in soapy water when I do dishes.

I do both Sharpie on the interior, exterior, handles, and shovels ... and our "good" buckets have Mabel's Labels with DD's full name.

By far, the Mabel's Labels are the best after a week's worth of hard use down the shore.
