Enjoy! We've stayed there several times. Both at Hilton on the Falls (one connected to the waterpark) and Fallsview. They are nice, standard Hilton-type rooms. The rooms with a view of the falls are worth the extra $ if it isn't that much more or if you can get an upgrade. BIL uses Hilton for work a lot and typically gets us an upgrade to those rooms when we travel with them. It's really pretty at night to look out at the falls all lit up.

Maid of the Mist lost their contract with the Canadian side so now MOM only does the US side. The operator for the Canada side is Hornblower Cruise.

If you want to board from the Canadian side, make sure you buy tickets with Hornblower Cruises and not Maid of the Mist.

ETA - Made a mistake. It's the Sheraton that's connected to the waterpark, Not Hilton. We've stayed at both. Typically Sheraton in winter when we use waterpark and Hilton in summer when we don't both with it.

Thanks for the info about Hornblower! I assume since we are staying on the Canadian side, that would make more sense?

Is there a particular time of day that would make more sense or is better? How long does the boat ride typically take?

We will be arriving in Niagara early afternoon. Should we got that afternoon/evening or early the next morning?

I don't really think time of day matters except for weather. You get very, very wet!!! If it's cool in the morning, you might want to go later in the day.

Thanks all! We stayed in Niagara Falls Saturday night and got back last night. We stayed at the Hilton-Fallsview and did the Hornblower cruise. We had a great time.
