had her check up today with the doc and she approved my wipe once at pj time plan. Then the nurse asked me to get a urine sample from dd. I asked, how?? She looked at me and said, haven't you ever given a urine sample?? to which i responded, yes, but with different plumbing.... The mother next to me starting laughing very hard. She took pity on me and told me to have her sit way back and hold the cup under her.
Unfortunately, i had had dd go pee pee before leaving for the dr.
Between these two items and the tampon thread, i think i am in trouble...........

Dd had a complicated bladder infection at age 5. Same collection method, but we had to go in 5 different times. DH works much closer to school/ped so took her for half. Dd explained his role. The entire office, including our ped, found it adorable each time that he took her. So at least you have that going for you. It was not at all newsworthy when I took her.
