We have an RCI week to use before Jan 1. We have 2 daughters (6 &2). We just did disney world. Bonus points if we can drive there from New Orleans ( we don't have tons of money to spend). I originally wanted to go to Disneyland, but I don't think we can afford it. So where can we go on short notice that will have things for the girls to do?

That was kind if my question. We don't have RCI and the website was overwhelming on my phone (only Internet). I was hoping that someone would have a suggestion. I think you can go almost anywhere based on how extensive the website was. Thanks for responding!

I am not currently an RCI member, so can't check any availability, but wanted to give you some info. Until you actually call RCI, you won't know what resorts they have available. RCI does not own resorts, they have weeks at resorts deposited with them by owners of a timeshare who want to go elsewhere. So availability varies, sometimes by day.
Driving ideas- TX: South Padre Island, Galveston, Corpus Christi for beach stuff.
San Antonio
FL panhandle- Destin, Ft Walton Beach, Pensacola
Do you enjoy hiking? Possibly the Smoky mountains?
TN: Pigeon Forge (never actually been there, but I hear about it alot as a vacation destination)
