Toddler bed, twin bed, or ???

Sorry OP to be late to this thread, but if you are still considering options, you might want to consider Ikea's Fjellse twin bed frame, as it is very low to the ground like a toddler bed. It comes in unfinished wood, but my husband used Benjamin Moore white wood paint, and this bed looks very nice in my daughter's room. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/pr...66/#/S59009824

take off the base board and add a toddler mattress under your existing one..saves $$ and prolem solved!!
