Default Friday Fun: what type of mattress do you have?

We have a queen sized memory foam/latex/coil mattress (the coils are individually wrapped) and we really like it. It took us over a year to find a mattress we really liked and in our budget (under $1400). If we ever get a room big enough for a king size bed I would get the same mattress again. Our mattress brand is Diamond Mattress and we are really happy with it (it was sold as a store brand, but the warranty came from Diamond, and I love that it is made locally).

We have a Beautyrest with the individual coils and are very happy with it. Also wish we had room for a king! We might just be able to fit one in our room, but it would not fit up the stairs. It was a challenge to get the queen up the stairs...

King-sized memory foam, purchased from Amazon.

The only thing that made it a huge pain was having our bulk trash days snowed out, so our old mattress was taking up space in DD's room for a month or two.

I answered all-latex, but we have a wonderful luxurious wool topper on the latex mattress - it takes comfort to a whole other level (dh, a man of few words, described the bed as "sensuous" after adding the topper). We built our own mattress at foambymail.com (actually, now I've built a king, a queen, and a custom-sized cradle mattress) and the wool topper came from dreamsoftbedware.com

I have a king tempurpedic. It's the harder version (not the cloud or whatever the softer one is) and I sometimes regret that, although I think it's probably a safer mattress for co sleeping and my back feels great in the morning. It wasn't very nice during late pregnancy since there is so little give and I often felt like I was crushing the baby.

After 2 pillowtops with body impressions, we've now got a latex from sleepEZ. It's great. I'm still trying to get just the right configuration for me, but it feels great. It's a king (forgot to vote for that) and if you anticipate trouble getting a king up the stairs, this is the mattress for you. It comes in different parts and you roll it out and stack it together and zip it up all in the same room.

Tempurpedic Cal king and wouldn't go back to coils. We love it, have had it about three years after we bought this house and cal king gave just a little more room than our king. Had an extremely crazy expensive mattress before and hated it. Too firm. Then a fine Costco king of some sort and it is at vacation house until we break down and get a Tempurpedic for there too.

We have a king Select Comfort (Sleep Number) bed and love it as well. I voted "other" type because it has 2 air bladders, but also lots of foam cushioning and a pillowtop.
