    Default ok, weird problem :(

I went out walking with DS today and when he got tired he asked to sit on a bench, so, we sat and I scooted closer to him. As I did that, turns out the bench wasn't finsihed well and about a hundred splinters got stuck to my pants I felt the poke, but felt that I they might not have penetrated. I immediately got up, walked home and changed. I am soaking the pants in water and hopefully that'll get them out but I am still feeling a little pokey on the backside of my thigh and not sure if any splinters got stuck. I could ask DH to take a look (he's out) but I am not sure it would be easy to find any what should I do? and thank you for reading....

Have you tried taking a shower? I wonder if the skin is just irritated.

No advice but I had something similar happen with the blue wooden flats at Costco and my foot. I got about 10 splinters in my foot and couldn't get the right angle to get them out. My only advice is to feel around for them. If you still feel like something is there, it probably is. Get a sterilized needle, tweezers, flashlight, and magnifying glass out for DH. I'm sorry, splinters suck.

Soak in a tub with tons of Epsom salts. Will help them work out.

Thank you all. We ended up jot trying the duct tape idea, although it's a great one. DH went over the area with a magnifying glass and found nothing. I felt nothing too. So assuming I am ok now. Wondering if I should be on the lookout for anything in case he missed any.

I was going to suggest tape also! I had to use it when my kids went barefoot into my friend's yard!
