I got one today at our Lego store! You had to ask for them as they were behind the counter --they mentioned they only get a few of them. And unfortunately they limited them to one per household, and I was by myself with the kids, so I could only get one. I told the kids this was "Mommy's Lego" and said they could have their own figurines and fill a bucketLOL. My MIL is going to try to get another one that the kids can play with. They're pretty young for it (the box says 10+ and I can see why) but I just think it is so neat!

They had them out at our Lego Store yesterday, with a 2 per customer limit. We got 2! One for DD and one for my office
There were 4 left on the shelf when we left, but my guess is that they probably sold out. DD was able to build it all herself, except the dino skeleton, which was pretty tricky.DD January 2008

The box says 10+ and, yes, there are instructions.

Wow. I'm glad I bought two sets from our local Lego store on Saturday. (Thanks OP for the heads-up!) They were limiting sales to 1 set per person but let my DD buy one too.

It has now sold out online too. The CS person I talked to said they were flooded with orders over the weekend and email notifications hadn't gone out to many people. Those of us who ordered with the 30 day back-order - the sets are expected to ship after Aug 15. Thrilled I got to order one set - but now disappointed I won't be able to get more for gifts and for my office desk!

I ordered a set online the first day this was posted, when it was listed as a 30 day out of stock. I never received a confirmation e-mail, but today I received a confirmed shipping notice!
