Private college loan

There's still a screw-up with my financial aid for this academic year, and I may need to look into a private loan. Any advice where to look?

And requesting mojo the head of my department can convince the university's financial aid office that I am enrolled in enough classes to qualify - I'm taking one required class from another department and that seems to be the issue.

ETA - does private loan pay university or pay to your bank account? I need to pay my tuition soon, and we can cover it, but I'll need to get loan then pay us back. thanks.

i got my private loans from sallie mae because all of my government loans were from there. you can apply online. the $ was sent to the school, and the week following the school receiving it, I received a refund check from them.
