Default Your poor planning is not my problem....

I do like to help out and be accommodating when I can, but I'm not inclined to change my schedule which affects my classes, work and DS's schedule, because of your poor planning. Looking at a friend and my college department, both want me to change things but means I have to run around to try and rework things. I understand it's easier for you to ask me to make changes than for you to work something else out. It's not easier for me. My answer is No. You do have other options, use them.

I was JUST talking to DH this morning about the quote: "Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." It's one of my favorites. So true!

I saw my friend last night at the event she wanted me to change my schedule to accommodate her, so she figured out a solution. Now to wait and see if my college department can work out a solution without pressuring me to change my and DS's schedule - I've already told them it would require changing his aftercare which will be problematic.
