Default Help me find a new bedroom set

We're hoping to replace our bedroom set this year. We would like a king size sleigh bed to replace our queen, a small dresser for under the TV, and a long dresser. I love DSs Young America bedroom set in cinnamon but I'm not loving their sleigh bed sets. Any faves to recommend? TIA

I don't know if this helps but the new trend is all about NOT matching. I actually have a very old set that I do love. But IF I were buying new, I'd buy each piece separately. I think the key is to buy each one and have them be different enough that they don't look like you were trying to buy a set and failed. Does that make sense? So if the bed is really important to you, start there. Then find interesting pieces that will work in each of your spots. You can use different finishes or colors. There are tons of examples on houzz.com which might be a nice place to look!

We got our bed from Charles P. Rogers (here: http://www.charlesprogers.com/) and our dresser and nightstands from Simply Amish (here: http://www.simplyamish.com/, but we ordered through a local dealer that we got a name for from the website). In both cases we customized to get pieces that coordinated (dark finishes on both, dark leather on the headboard on the bed), but did not exactly "match". Since then we also picked up a Baker bench for an excellent price at auction to go between our bedroom windows that coordinates (although it will need to be reupholstered at some point).

We would deal with both of these vendors again (although not the local dealer for Simply Amish -- they were a mess -- and happily there is another one in town). We are pretty sure that the bed can withstand an earthquake and the dresser and nightstands are solid and quality construction.

Drexel Heritage. We got a bed and two nightstands, and are mixing in other pieces from different lines or producers to complement the pieces we already have.

Love this bed from Ethan Allen:

    For under the tv:

Not sure about the long dresser. It depends on if you want it all to match.

Drexel is really good- I have a Lane sleigh bed that my parents bought me when I graduated college- while Lane isn't necessarily top of the line- I have to admit that bed is SOLID. It's survived 4 moves, and still like new- I don't love the dressers that I also got with it- the handle pulls always come off, but the bed- I can't imagine it being any higher quality.
