Default How to keep chicken nuggets crunchy and hot?

DD likes to bring nuggets for lunch. I've put in a funtainer to keep hot but they get soggy. I've heated up nuggets and cooled them off before packing so they stay somewhat crispy but of course they're cold. So any secrets in keeping them hot and crunchy? I pack lunch at seven and DD eats around noon.

I always heat them in a toaster over and wrap in foil. My kids say they are warm and haven't complained.

I don't think it's possible, though I think wrapping them in foil is your best bet. You could even wrap them in foil and stick them in the thermos. That will keep them warm, but I think condensation from the heat will always eliminate the possibility of crunchiness. It would be great if someone could fix that problem though!!

My friend says she tucks a paper towel in the funtainer to soak up the moisture. I haven't tried it myself.
