    Default PMS/MS symptoms question

Is there any way to minimize period symptoms? Lately, I've noticed the day I start, my head is so in the clouds, I almost feel drugged. My body feels achy/sick, tummy is upset, and I just cannot think straight. Ugh! Besides the obvious ibuprofen and immodium (which I don't want to do b/c it is overkill and ends up working TOO well IYKWIM), is there anything at all I can do to at least minimize these symptoms?

Usually, I just roll with it, but we are going to disney the day before I start (well, supposed to anyway), and I need to be on my A game and not foggy and crappy feeling!! If I were on BC, I'd just skip this period, but I'm not. Help!!

IDK about the head in the clouds feeling, but I do find that taking evening primrose oil the week before (1 caplet in the morning, then 1 at bedtime), and then 2 or 3 at bedtime the week of my period helps with physical symptoms and a bit of the dragginess.

I also take a multivitamin with probiotics & herbs, which I think helps.

For cramp pain, I take a single Aleve gelcap before bed.
