Jury duty- longest you've served

The second day I was chosen to serve on a drug case. Days three and four we listened to testimony, and day five we came back to deliberate. Ended in a hung jury (which I predicted that morning when they took our lunch order and 11 people ordered turkey sandwiches and one ordered ham).

Funny what things you can pick up on from a lunch order. :P

My longest was nine days on a Federal jury. The defendant was found not responsible so we didn't have to go to the next stage. Since it was Federal though we made $45 a day plus gas money. My work was supposed to pay the difference but HR told me not to bother submitting it because they assumed it would be the same crummy pay that State and County gives. So I got my entire pay check and the $450 from the court.

4.5 days. We got placed on the jury late on the 1st day. Deliberations didn't get to start until the morning on that last day.

I had to go in for 2 days. I did not serve on a jury. My SIL served two days a week for 3 months on a medical civil trial.
