Default Where would you go for dinner tonight?

I know this sounds silly but I am having a difficult time making this simple decision. So, where would YOU go...what would you eat?? We do not eat out very often but we want to treat the kids - birthday "week" for DD2, a BIG soccer win for DS, and DH and I starting a multi-month Whole30 tomorrow. Everything that I keep gravitating towards are paleo but I do not necessarily want to limit it to paleo, as we DO go off-plan occasionally and it's our "last supper" to spurge. Thoughts? TIA!! I don't want to give the kids the sole choice...they would choose Golden Corral.

Lol. Mine would choose Panera. If it's just me and Dave we choose Thai, Indian or sushi. Do you have any good local shops? In MD we had this sandwich shop called Roy's that had thousand of sandwich options. It was a good place for a variety of tastes.

I'd go onto Urban Spoon and pick something from the current talk of the town. I only go to ones that 90%+ of people like, I read reviews and I haven't had a bad meal yet. I don't really do chain restaurants.

It's my son's birthday today and he picked California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. Perfect!

Well, I live in the Pacific Northwest, so I'd be heading to one of the many wonderful family friendly brewpubs in the area. Probably a McMennimans, since the one near our house is a familiar favorite but I really like the new Mill City place that has such a wonderful lamb burger.

    Default Thank you!!!!!

THANK YOU!!!! I forgot about Urban Spoon! When we DO go out I consult that app but it has been soooo long since we last ate out that completely forgot. Ohhh...Thai sounds fantastic! There is also a great brew pub downtown that has a well-rounded menu! I keep thinking of Italian but the food (sauce!) always pales in comparison to my grandma's...I just get grumpy. THANK YOU!!! LOTS of awesome suggestions!! And...ohhhh...how I miss Cheesecake Factory! We would go there in a heartbeat but the closest is hrs away.

There is a great French bistro by you downtown by the river. I love love love that place. Crepes, small plates and all around yumminess. Then you can hit Kilwin's after. That's what I would do.
