Organize your home in 40 days...join in!

I thought we could give this a try. I think we should each post our lists of 40 days of things and when we'll start and how we'll do them. Keep this thread updated with progress as you go. Pictures are great to motivate the rest of us!

Pick 40 areas you want to organize. They can be big and cover a few days, or very small. It's your choice.

You can make a list and do it in order, or do them as you have time and cross them off.

ETA: So I'll post dailies until day 40. If you miss a day, just respond on the right number when you get back to it. Post your Day 1 in the Day 1 post, even if Day 1 is 2 weeks after my Day 1 was. You'll end up with 40 days of organizing, just not 40 days in a row.

I'm in!!! Can we come up with a start date (at least a few days from now) to give folks a chance to figure out their list of 40? And then every day maybe start a new thread titled "Day 1 of 40" and "Day 2 of 40" so we can all update on what we got done that day? (or if folks have a better idea I'd like to hear it. I just need some accountability!)

I'm going to do this over 8 weeks. I don't organize on weekends . I'll make my list and cross things off as I go, but they aren't in order.

You're right- it makes sense to just keep updating this thread with items crossed off I'm all for Oct 1!

I noted a day 1 and a day 2 in my master bedroom. I broke the basement up by area. So... completely fine!
