    Default Kettlebells - what size?

I am thinking of starting a Kettlebell exercise routine. I dont have any kettle bells though! What size is best for beginners? I am fairly out of shape and it would be great for me to lose like 25 pounds. When I do a regular exercise tape with some dumbells I use 4 - 10 pound weights. It really depends on the exercise. I would say I am usually in the 8 pound range. But some of the exercises I do drop down to the 4 pounders, and on some I can use 10 pounds (and maybe more).

    So what size kettlebell?

    I'd start with 15 or 17.5.

This video helped me choose: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBVix24GKG0

(I went with a 35lb KB, but I'd already been lifting weights for several months by that point.)

I use a 35 lb but just "graduated" from 25 lbs. I'd look at sub 25 lbs

Can you try some out before you purchase? I bought one weight for single-armed movements, and a heavier one for double-armed movements, when I was starting out with kettle bells. If I'd ordered online, I probably would have taken the easier route and ordered lighter than what would actually challenge me.
