Thank you, what a nice offer, although I think I'll just walk over and get it from you. Around December 22. That should take a week or two.

She has already made all those quilts, seriously. Plus probably 100 articles of American Girl size clothing. She must be constantly doing SOMETHING. Knitting, scrapbooking, sewing, cutting for sewing, looking online for patterns for knitting or sewing or quilting, reading, etc.. Not to mention complaining and whining. Oh it's going to be COOOOLLLLD here at Christmastime!! <eyeroll>

DH will be taking many days off. If he knows what's good for him.

Wow, she's back again? Time for you to take a vacation by yourself. I'm serious. Let your dh take time off to be with his mom and the kids. You take this as a chance to get away.

My DH can't even tolerate his own mother for that long lol.

Especially over the holidays, you deserve some down time. Plan some activities for all of them outside the house. "I could only get x number of tickets. It's ok, I'll stay home. You all go out and enjoy yourselves. Take your time, stop for dinner on the way home. It's my gift to you."

You should be given a spa vacation for Christmas and it should be given to you on Thanksgiving so that you can use it beginning Dec 21.

I would insist on him taking days off. The ILs are coming too. FIL for 4 days and MIL for 12 days - FIL gets antsy that long away from home and DH wants to take MIL to the Rose Bowl parade. DH is taking those days off. I insisted!

She is staying with you for 2 weeks?!? Good grief that's a long time. I can barely handle 2 days with my MIL.
