Happy New Year to all of you!

since summer I have been on a quest to lose weight and so far i have lost about 14 pounds but gained 5 pounds back since thanksgiving and since then I've had various little stomach ailments from that point on. Maybe it is because I am getting older and unable to tolerate things like wheat and such. How does one pinpoint the causes of their gastro issues? it all seem to have many underlying causes that it is a bit overwhelming to try find root cause.

I've been talking with my nutirional friend who recommended this book and method to kick off my cleansing and wanted to know whether any of you heard of this approach, worked for you, tips and advice? and what approach did YOU take?

As i really like to start getting a handle on transforming myself into a healthier and stable body before it becomes unfixable! my goal, which i don't think is unrealistic is to lose about 30-35 pounds and improve my strength with muscle tone by time i hit 40 which is in 2 year's time.
