    Frustrating for sure, but definitely very normal and expected. Pretty much everywhere, after 3 years you're considered a new patient officially (it's how billing guidelines and such are set up). Honestly, around here, getting in within a month to see a neurologist as an *existing patient* is really good -- new patients wait WAY longer. But still stinks you have to wait longer than you'd like to!

    I think it sounds pretty normal too. Maybe you can ask to be notified if there's a cancellation or no-show.

    I didn't know this. I haven't seen my endo in over a year as my regular dr. did labs and wrote prescription at my annual. I may schedule an appt with him to stay current. He's the one I want to see if I start having issues with my thyroid.
