Okay, another Star Wars toy question: Light Sabers? On Amazon they all look kinda the same, with only dramatic difference in price and maybe color. Looking at this one because L would love the color. Only it says "not intended for battle." Are they all like that? Does that mean if she tried to have a sword fight the "blade" part would snap?

the one you liked is from a costume they are usually more cheaply made You can find them as cheep as $5 but they last about that long too!

The ones PP linked above are good. They sell them at target for $20. We have three and only one has broken (but you can snap it back together and it works just fine), and that's after over a year of hard core play from a 5 year old boy.

This may not be something you are interested in at all, but google "pool noodle light saber." A friend made these for her DS's 6th birthday & what a hit! The cheap dollar store pool noodle are flimsy enough that they don't hurt at all (although they sound as if they would hurt). The kids had a ball & the kids and noodles were no worse for the wear!
