The valco snap has a lot of the great attributes of the BJCM but a smaller footprint which might be a nice compromise

How about mac techno? It's bigger, but still with an umbrella fold. It does have a full recline for a newborn.

I was going to make the same suggestion.

At 13lbs it seems like a great option! But the snap appears to be discontinued according to their website .

Is the Techno 'open in the back'? That was another complaint from him about the quest. When it was fully reclined it was open in the back.
I really wish I could see more of these strollers in person.

My quest is not open in back. The back can be moved open, but can also be closed. I remember the techno the same way, but it's been a few years since I've had one.

Try you tube and Google images for more pics of the strikers, and reviews.

Is your dh going to be the primary stroller user? If so, maybe have him do the searching? You are waaaay more patient then I would be with all of his requests.

I also found a snap for sale on amazon for 279.

Albee only had the snap4 when I looked, maybe I missed it. Off to check again.

Lol, he always want to push the stroller when we are out with DD. But yes he is on my last nerve. I would leave it up to him, but I fear we would wind up with nothing...or something I totally hate. Thank you for the sympathy .
