Default My Turbobooster is broken, right?

I think it is, but just want to double check here. If I push down on the adjustable head support (without gripping the red adjuster handle), it will "slip" out of position and down a couple notches. This is BAD because it doesn't ensure the seat belt stays above DS2's shoulders in a crash, correct? Anyone encounter this problem before?

    Thanks in advance!

We used to force the tabs into the slots to get things to stay in place, what did you figure out? (Like, call graco? Just buy a new one and save the base for backless use later?)

Welcome back, Julie! I see from your other thread you've been busy having fun! I'm glad you and DH got to take some time for yourselves.

Right now, we're just using the base as a backless, but what is this about forcing things into the slots??? I'd love to be able to use the HBB part again, as it makes me uneasy to have DS2 using it as a LBB. We're going to take it on a trip, and the headwings would be nice for him to rest his head if/when he falls asleep.

Yeah, just try to get a feel for how the whole back works, I haven't fiddled with one in some time, but there's definite 'slot A, tab B' engineering, hopefully the tabs aren't damaged, because you should be able to coax them into the proper slot and make them stay.
