Default Boot question #2: Crocs Handle-It rain boot warm enough for winter?

I love the Crocs Handle-It rain boot for DD1 because it is so lightweight, and I just bought her a new pair for the fall. Would these be warm enough for the snow if she wears thick socks?
These are the boots I am talking about: http://www.crocs.com/p/crocs-kids-ha...id=430#start=2

We don't have those boots do I can't speak to them specifically but IME rain boots aren't enough for long snowy walks or significant outdoor play like snowman making, at least in the northern climates. My kids live their rain boots but we always switch to snow boots when it gets much below freezing because their feet get too cold despite wool socks.
