Anyone know if I'm sharing under the old system and not the prime Prime member can I sign up DH as a new member for the $67 and then he can share with me?

So, I am an add on to someone else's account (actually a BBB member), she is the primary account holder and I don't get to use the streaming video/music benefits, will amazon consider me a NEW member if I try to sign up tomorrow???

Yes, I share with someone who lives in a different city, I just had to give her my name, birthdate and I think email address.

Technically not anymore. People that did it are grandfathered in. But, I share an account with a friend, she has my log on info and just buys stuff with her cc and that has worked fine for us.

Recently? Like since August? If not, it's changed and now you have to agree to authorize each other to use the payment methods. Amazon says "This will not affect either of their current payment settings, but each adult will be able to copy the credit and debit cards of the other account to his or her Amazon account and use them for purchases with Amazon."

Ok what am I doing wrong? I am a current prime member. I can't figure out how to get the $67 prime. I see the main page where it says today only it's $67. I tried adding prime to my cart as a gift but got all the way to the final checkout page and it still says $99.
