Default Where to shop for clothes for eight-year-old DD?

Eight-year-old DD is extremely tall and solid. She currently wears a 14/16. Our go to stores are Macy's, justice, lands end, Old Navy, Columbia sportswear, JCPenney and L.L. Bean.

She no longer fits into children's place, gap kids, crazy eight, and does not like Hannah Anderson. Where else can I shop for clothes are not going to be way too mature for her?

What kind of clothes does she like? Jeans/t-shirts/hoodies, skirts, dresses, etc.? Does she like plainer or more "decorated" (not quite the right word, but the graphics and bling that is common on girls clothes) things? How tall is she?

She likes pretty much anything except jeans. Although she will wear extremely soft stretchy feeling jeans. The other thing that she does not like to do is to dress in layers. So she has a mix of very thin too much thicker shirts/hoodies/sweaters. She still likes the justice glitter although not as much as she used to thank goodness.

Have you tried Kohls? My tween nieces shop at Aeropostale and Hollister. I've never been inside so I can't comment on the styles.

And my "I hate the feeling of jeans" DD who is also 8 is now living in these from JCP. We have 2 pair of the long length (1 dark and 1 light wash) and a pair of rolled hem ankle length/capri. This child hasn't worn anything close to jeans since she was 2yo. I'm in heaven now that she loves these.
Mom to two amazing DDs ('07 & '09) and a fur baby.

Have had great improvement or total elimination of: migraines, bloating/distention, heartburn, cystic acne, canker sores, bleeding gums, eczema on elbows, dry skin and scalp, muscle cramps, PMS, hair loss, heart palpitations, fatigue. I'm amazed.

My dd will be 9 in March and is an inch taller than yours I think. H&M is our go-to store. They do run small -- size 7/8 long sleeve t-shirts are really slim fit (my DD is a swimmer and seems to be getting pretty broad shouldered, so that may be why). I tend to size up on everything H&M.
I also get her some things at Macy's or other department stores.

My DD1 is 4 foot 8 and she can wear mini Boden size 10, or 11-12 with lots of room to grow. Maybe try mini Boden? The pants tend to be wider and more roomy.

My DD is 4'10" and will be 8 for another 7 days. She can still wear most brands of pants, including MB, in a 10, and is transitioning to 11-12s for tops because her torso and arms are long.
