Default Can we get a new sub-forum for tween/teen issues?

An "old" BBB'er, Tara, popped in to say hello the other day and it sparked a lot of people to talk about their tween and teen DCs and the need for a teen board. So many of us have stuck around here long after our babies are no longer babies. It'd be great to have a place for us all to share and commiserate about teen angst, hormones/puberty, teen relationships with other teens, school issues, etc, etc. That way we can connect with other parents in similar life stage, while still hanging out in the Lounge, Bitching Post, and offer advice to newer parents.

Have had great improvement or total elimination of: migraines, bloating/distention, heartburn, cystic acne, canker sores, bleeding gums, eczema on elbows, dry skin and scalp, muscle cramps, PMS, hair loss, heart palpitations, fatigue. I'm amazed.

I love this idea, but even as a parent of much younger kids wonder a bit about privacy and discussing some of the teen topics on an easily Googled, public forum.

As the parent of a 7 year old and 3 year old, I'd so appreciate it if tween/teen topics could be a subforum rather than a different forum all together. I feel I benefit so much from the wisdom of moms with older kids. It's great to be able to get a sense of what may be coming and have a bit of a plan to handle it. I'd hate for any of that great wisdom to be siphoned away!!!

Thanks for the suggestion! Sure, we can do that—we'll mull whether to make this a separate or sub-forum.

Any one have any catchy names for the new forum? Just asking!

    Thanks,

Great idea! I love the BBB and the "family" we have here, and also vote for a subforum rather than separate forum (some of us have kids spanning multiple age groups).

Name ideas: "Parenting Tweens & Teens" would be an unexciting, but apt description!
