Jerilyn in VA here. I still read sometimes but don't post often. My son just turned 12 this week (6th grade) and my daughter is 9, will be 10 in March (4th grade). I migrated here from a Baby Center board when DS was a newborn, and I'm still in regular contact with a bunch of moms from my early years here.

Hello everyone! So happy they started this board! DS1 is 12 in 7th grade and thinks he knows everything already. Anyone else having this problem? DS2 is 10 in 5th grade and I have a DD in 1st grade that sometimes acts like she's a teenager!

I'm also in MA, DD1 is turning 12 next week, DD2 is 10. DH lives in fear of all of us having Aunt Flo at the same time.

Hello everyone!
I have a 12 year old dd. I joined when I was adopting her at 11 mos of age.
I also have a 9 year old ds, who I adopted at 4.5. He does not really feel like he has crossed into being a tween yet, but I am sure its coming soon!lucky single mom to 20 yr old dd and 17 yr old ds through 2 very different adoption routes

Been around here since late 2002 (or so) and remember my very first post (a jogging stroller "deal" or so i thought in BJs!).
DS1 is 12. DS2 is 5. They DO. NOT. GET. ALONG. 90% of the time anyway.
DS1 - it's a struggle daily with homework, getting him to do stuff w/ friends, etc. Need to repeat the same thing 2 or 3 times before it's done etc! HELP!

I've been here since I was pregnant with my oldest who is now my tween: DD1 (10.) Our biggest struggle right now is that we have a huge gap between our older two and our little one, so I have one foot in toddler land and one foot in tweendom...it's shaky ground.
