I got one on deal last year. It never came out of the box this year!

I'll play devils advocate and say that I didn't expect to use ours much and we actually find it really handy! My kids love to laminate their artwork so at the very least it makes for a good rainy day activity. It's definitely not a necessity, but I'm glad we have it.

Similar here. I didn't use it much at all for the first year I owned a laminator, but then we made some bookmarks and it was so handy that I've used it quite a bit.

Yeah, my DD likes to make bookmarks as valentines for her friends and classmates with the laminator. We like to laminate instruction sheets for building toys and plan on doing the same for board game instructions.

We use the laminator with Dry erase markers to create reusable checklists and to do items for everyone (kids, me, babysitters, etc.). Those get used a lot around here. Also good to laminate gamesheets (like yahtzee or qwixx) so you don't have to buy more later.

Thank you for this- We have Harry Potter Clue that is out of print and it never occurred to me to laminate the sheets so we could reuse them.
"Someday, I am going to go to bed without toys on the floor and sippys in my sink. Things will stay where I put them and I can have nice, fragile items on display. But when I do, I will look around with a wistfullness in my heart and miss the days where vibrant imaginations ran wild and there was evidence of life happening around me all the time!"
