Default posting here for traffic - need "educational" gift idea for 6yo girl $30-40

DD2's bday is Sun - my aunt asked my mom to buy her an educational toy and spend about $30-40.
My mom is here and asked what to get and I'm at a complete loss.

My girls share a nook and I feel like they already get plenty of 'electricity' time.

She likes barbies, art and LOVES to read but we go to the library several times a week. She's a really active kid so we spend an hour at the playground after school every day which limits her indoor playtime.

    Snap circuits?
    Legos or mag formers?
    Laserpegs?
    Science kits?
Puzzles, family games like Zingo, labyrinth?
    Goldieblox or roominate?

Target has 40 percent off a bunch of STEM toys in another thread.

What about a logic puzzle/game like Castle Logic or Camelot Jr. Your aunt could pair it with Sleeping Queens card game if she wants to spend more.

You ROCK!! I'd bought Camelot Jr in 2011 for $12 and still had it in the gift pile - 2 birds killed
