So glad you started this, I need the inspiration to do the same. I cleaned up the office area (visible from family room etc) and put all my graduate school material away (some in the garage and some in recycling). I also went through the pile of papers from DS's school projects from LAST school year. Yep, it's December and I just took care of the pile of school papers from June. I'm hoping to keep on a roll and get more things done that have been bugging me for so long.

Hey, Nicci, sh*t happens! If I recall correctly, you completed grad school, accepted a job offer, and started working full-time since June.

    That's a lot!

But, yeah, the accountability/accomplishments thing helps me break down my to-do's into manageable chunks so much each year that I feel lost when I don't do it.

Way to go! I have too many things to even write them down. While packing for today's trip, though, I spent some time cleaning kids' rooms and vacuuming under their beds. Made me feel good to have completed that task, which I would've never written down.

I feel like there are too many things that I want to do at once sometimes, too. Especially if there's a trip coming up! (We will also be traveling soon.)

I break things down into small chunks to help myself feel less overwhelmed, but I know that doesn't work out for everyone.

Thanks for coming to share your accomplishment, though! I am very glad that it made you feel good to have cleaned your kids' rooms and vacuumed under their beds - and to share it here!
