I am suddenly getting replies to posts that I also replied to as text messages! What happened and how do I stop it? Was it the most recent Facebook app update?

Eep, that sounds awful. I refuse to give FB my phone number. I'd try under settings. Also, perhaps unsubscribe from updates for each of your posts? Good luck.

Maybe try replying to the text with the word STOP or OFF?

Just go to "settings" and then "notifications" on FB and click off that notification button.

I think I figured it out. I added my cell phone number to my account for security purposes (in case I get locked out), and facebook assumed I wanted text notifications so automatically turned them on. Thanks facebook.
