We have bogs that look just like that. No problem with snow getting in the top, unless it's two feet deep or they are making angels.
my kids love their boots!!
Eta: the bogs are super warm and dry, but have never tried the target brand.loving my dh and our littles (dd ~ 11 yrs, ds ~ 9 yrs, ds ~ 7 yrs, dd ~ 5 yrs and baby brother ~ 20 mo)

Definitely a Bogs knockoff -- first time I've seen that. Agree that Bogs are super warm, yet can be worn earlier and later in the season than snow boots. My NE family loves them. By the way, if you look up Bogs boots, they're pretty pricey but are often available on very good sales.
