    Default Fitbit? Hr monitor?

I would like to be able to monitor my heart rate when I exercise, and replacing my current hr monitor's dead batteries would be close to the price of a new one. My current one is just a basic polar hr monitor. Admittedly, I have not done much research and am not a techy person, so can anyone steer me toward what would be best for me?

I've had the fitbit charge HR for since this summer and I really like it. HR seems to be accurate to the HR monitors on the cardio machines at the gym. I like the other features of the fitbit...steps, distance (not GPS but based on stride), sleep, etc. A neighbor just received a Polar A300 (I think that's it) and she really likes it.

I'm amazed.
