Congratulations! I have been fighting losing 20 pounds and my weight is starting to creep up so I need a kick in the pants. Thanks for the reminders! I actually gained weight when I was running more because it made me hungry all the time. I had to quit running so much and mix it with something else (which was sad!)

Have you ever done a running race or a triathlon? I find that having goals other than the number on the scale to be motivating and good for the spirit. Races on the calendar help keep me focused on my eating and training (cause who wants to haul more a$$ around than they need to???)

I've lost weight with training for races (running 5k up to half marathons, triathlon and other multisport.) I'm no where near my goal, but I feel great about the body that I'm in. Not to mention I'm setting a strong example for my kids.
