    I agree with the above -- try to find a specialist. I don't do any ADHD stuff through our ped, other than keep her updated about medications and dosages.

    DH was anti meds and it was only after a really bad weekend that he was open to trying them. After seeing how badly she did, I don't think he wants to go further with meds. We have an appointment with her psychologist at the end of this month. I am going to see if he has any recommendations.

    I'm sorry you're having issues with this med and getting to try a different one. I agree with everyone else, see a psychiatrist/specialist because I'm willing to bet that there are other options, your pedi just doesn't have that particular expertise.
