    Default Purse rec for tween?

DD just got glasses she has to wear sometimes. This means she needs to carry her case around. She's also thinking she'd like to have her emergency stash of hygeine products, a daily planner since she doesn't have a phone, and a house key (because it makes her feel important). Of course, she is not into the idea of a purse.

I was thinking of something along the lines of the vera bradley little hipster, but she is not impressed and anything fashion related is not my field. Any recommendations? Help please!

    Bonus if it's cheap! Thanks!

Can you just take her to TJ Maxx or Old Navy and let her pick something?

If not, maybe a Kipling brand one.

I didn't know Old Navy even had them
Yes, we will try those! She hates shopping as much as I do, but if she picks it out herself, chances of success increase substantially.

Haven't heard of kipling, will take a peek. We have to go to Target tonight for loads of other stuff and I think both TJs and Old Navy are near there. I feel like my brain is a giant fog lately and that didn't even occur to me. Thanks!

    Default Purse rec for tween?

I just went through this a week ago. We ended up getting DD a small lesportsac crossbody bag. This one is the perfect size. Lots of pockets and prints to chose from.

Here is DD wearing it. She's 10 and about 56"

Vera Bradley crossbody bags, especially from the outlet, so priced in the low $20s, are the most popular bags with the tween crowd around here.

My DD picked this out at H&M recently. More color choices in store http://www.hm.com/us/product/46607?article=46607-A

My daughter wears a Vera Bradley cross-body. She only wears it when she goes places and she needs to carry her phone & money. She doesn't carry a purse on a daily basis.
