Default Luggage for one week sleepaway camp

What do people pack in for sleepaway camp? When I went for 3 weeks as a kid, I brought a foot locker, but I didn't have to carry it anywhere; it was delivered to my tent. Instructions for DD's one-week sleepaway camp say she needs to be able to carry her own gear and can't have anything rolling, but I don't think her regular backpack will fit everything (multiple pairs of shoes, clothes for a week, rain gear, towels, etc.). Suggestions?

A medium or large LL Bean duffle bag could work. Cumbersome but she'll survive. . Eta- plus a backpack

We used a Nike Duffle bag. They are about $30 at Sports Authority.

ETA - She liked how it has different compartments on the end - one has a lot of mesh and she used that for dirty clothes. She put her shoes in the other. It all fit under her bed.

When I worked at a summer camp in college most kids brought either a big duffle bag or a regular suitcase. If they don't want rolling I would go with the duffle bag.

For duffles - what size? I'm overwhelmed and need to order something for a one week camp.

I use a medium duffle for the clothing and toiletries etc. Then I stuff the linens, towels, and pillow into a garbage bag since they will be unpacked upon arrival.

We used an 18-gallon Rubbermaid tote for DD. That was the luggage of choice for a fair amount of kids at her camp.

We just packed our son for a week long sleep away camp and this is what we used. We were able to fit his sleeping bag, pillow, a wet suit, snorkel gear, clothes, mess kit. etc. so it's pretty good size.
