    Default Best backpack diaper bag?

I had (and still have) my PPB boxy backpack from DD1. I also have an OiOi messenger. I hated the first one (oops) and the second was ok (thank goodness I got it secondhand). But I really need a backpack this time around. Not only do I have a bad back, but I do a fair amount of baby wearing. I've been looking at the Skip Hop Forma but I'm open to suggestions. I know this bag will basically be my purse for a couple of years so I'm willing to spend up to $200 (I'm also a purse person, so...) I'm also not on board with a regular backpack unless it's attractive. I know it's silly, but a regular backpack just looks weird with some clothes.

I need to carry the usual diaper changing stuff, a bottle or two, my own Kleen Kanteen and DD1's, and a large ziploc with an emergency change of clothes for my big girl. I would prefer a separate section/compartment for my cell, wallet, and personal items. I've heard excellent things about the Skip Hop clutch, so I'll probably get one of those as well.

I had a Vera Bradley with DD. Similar to this one http://www.verabradley.com/product/b...13.uts?N=30009
I thought it was too big for just her, but I am sure with all the stuff needed for multiple DCs, it would be more practical.

My sister loves her jujube... and it's huge. Plenty for two kids. I live my klean packable, but it's smaller and a sportier look. I use my big leather tote most of the time, just throw in a few diapers and go.

Trcy, I never would have thought of VB! The floral stuff is so NMS that it was never on my radar.

Abh5e8, I've been looking at the Jujube, but I couldn't really gauge size. I was in BRU today and I tried out the Forma. It has just enough structure to be helpful but it seemed a little flimsy in terms of the construction. I'll have to go to the local higher end baby store (I tried to go today, but they had a flood) and have a look.

I know this isn't the most feminine option but I got this when I got fed up with my jujube and it is amazing! The wipes dispenser and diaper hammock are so so useful. It does come in several different colors..

Ok, so after posting about my VB I decided to pull it out of storage. I was getting annoyed with the lack of space in the Baggallini I was using. The VB did not have a good spot for my keys, wallet, or cell phone. I wound up switching to an old Columbia bag (not a backpack) DH picked out before DD was born. It's not pretty, but it serves it's purpose, lol.

I bought ours (in Navy) with my DH in mind, but it never worked out that way.

I loved it for BW-ing all day trips (used it multiple times in NYC, on the subway and everything) and it fit EVERYTHING I (thought I) needed for DD's hospital checkups.

I did use a separate purse in warmer weather, though, because I wasn't comfortable having my wallet (etc) far from my body.

I don't carry my 6-year-old's stuff; she has her own (small, SkipHop Zoo) backpack that suits.
