Default Underarm hair for girls - razor? electric trimmer? where to start?

DD1 has like three long dark hairs under each arm. I've been hesitating to give her a razor for such a small amount of hair, but don't really know if there is a better alternative. Do you try an electric trimmer, and if so can you link to it? I don't think she is ready to or needs to shave her legs yet - but I'm watching her peers to see when they start. TIA!

I have this one and it works well for bikini. It would work well for a small armpit

If it's only 3 hairs, my initial instinct would be tweezers. My DD is 12, going on 13 in a couple of weeks; she's been using disposable razors.

I have this electric shaver and it's been fine. I use it on my legs though since I prefer an epilator for my underarms (pulls the hair out from the root) but it works perfectly well for underarms as well.

^^ I just started using that razor for my legs, too (after epilating for years). I still use the epilator on my underarms, though.

This would be my thought. I want to start epilating but am put off by the fact that the hair needs to grow long enough for it to grab I wish I'd started with epilating from the start. My hair would be so sparse right now the pain would have been worth it!

This is what my 12yo DD has been using on her legs since she was about 9. My DD has ADHD, and I'm just not okay with the idea of her with a disposable razor right now; I'm totally afraid of her losing attention and managing to slice herself. Even with her dark, course hair, the shaver above works well.
