    Default Mom Jewelry

Do you have any mom jewelry? Like a necklace or something that represents your kids? I have one, but don't love it and am looking for something else. I want to be able to wear it every day. Not sure if I want a necklace or a bracelet. I like the idea of a disc necklace, but also like the idea of a bracelet. Looking around on etsy for ideas.

    Maybe something like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/2618498...red?ref=hp_rv#

I do not have any, but you might look at the formiadesigns.com. I know someone who works for her. www.formiadesign.com/all-products/

The owner specializes in fine jewelry made from kids' artwork. If you wanted a less cutesy look, she also turns actual signatures, footprints, handprints, and photographs into charms, pendants, keychains, and other jewelry that exactly duplicate the original. The artwork images can be a positive or negative image (she has an example of the two somewhere on her website, but I can't find it). The signatures can either be cutouts in the shape of the signature, or the exact signature engraved on a shape.

The footprint pendant and the signature ones are my favorites. You could keep a deceased parent or grandparent's signature close to your heart.

I have a couple of things from The Vintage Pearl. I have a necklace with both my kids' initials like this: http://thevintagepearl.com/lowercase...-necklace.html and a necklace with each of our names like this:http://thevintagepearl.com/eclectic-charm-necklace.html

I really like their stuff. They do a lot more discounting and sales than they used to, also. Sign up for their emails if you like their stuff and they will let you know about sales.

Yes. I bought a beautiful delicate sterling silver necklace with two tiny hearts, each one inscribed with the initial of one of my kids' names. I love it. http://www.epiphaniejewelry.com/

I have one from The Vintage Pearl as well - like this one but with 2 sapphire-colored pearls strung on it.

They will work with you on simple customization which is nice (like if you like a particular stone with a particular charm, etc. I actually don't wear it as often now because it just screams mom necklace, you know? And I'm not a jewelry person to begin with.

I kind of wish I'd gone with stacking rings or bracelet/bangle with charms - because those are neat to stack with others, wouldn't scream "mom bracelet", and I would wear a stack of bracelets for work or going out. Hmm, maybe I will get myself one to stack with the Alex & Ani bangles I got from the NAS

I have a Hannah Design necklace that is two small discs each with a first Initial and a small pearl dangle. https://www.facebook.com/ByHannahDesign/?fref=ts

I also have a Camilla bracelet (like pandora) that I have charms that represent my kids: birthstone colors, a charm called snuggle bug that's a momma lady bug with a baby lady bug, a charm that says family, etc. I have other charms mixed in, so it doesn't scream "mom" at all. That'd be a way to represent your family/kids, things they are interested in, and that you could change up as their interests evolve or you have new experiences together.
Mom to two amazing DDs ('07 & '09) and a fur baby.

I'm amazed.

I have a necklace with my first 2 kids initials that I used to wear everyday. But I have a diamond necklace from DH that was a family piece that I like to wear as well. I also like to change up my necklaces so I looked for a different piece to represent my kids that I could wear everyday. DH and the kids gave me stackable rings with their birthstones from a local jeweler that I now wear every day on my right hand.

I have this one, except it's gold and on a box chain.

    http://thevintagepearl.com/rectangle...n-a-chain.html

I love it and wear it every day.

I would love a stack of bangle bracelets, each with one childs name. Any idea where to find something like that?
loving my dh and our littles (dd ~ 11 yrs, ds ~ 9 yrs, ds ~ 7 yrs, dd ~ 5 yrs and baby brother ~ 20 mo)
