I've ordered slim jeans and pants for my tall thin DS who is 7. I've found that as a whole (at least last fall), Gap jeans can run a bit longer than ON jeans that are the same size depending upon the fit/cut. It can be really crazy. I ordered both sizes and returned what didn't fit.

I find that Gap dresses run short. My 42" DD wore her sisters size small (6-7) dress today and it cam just above the knees.

I ordered everything a size up. When it comes, I'll see how big everything is, but I'd rather have the clothes a bit big and have them fit all the way through the season than have them conk out mid-winter. Rolled up pants are sort of fashionable now, right?
