    Default Toilet locks

Anyone have a toilet lock to recommend? My crawler is fascinated with toilets and has figured out how to lift the lid and go fishing. We're trying to leave the bathroom doors shut when not in use but for various reasons that can't always happen.

I'm looking for a toilet lid latch that works well, and ideally something that will latch each time on its own instead of requiring the user to re-latch it. Any suggestions? I'm reading tons of Amazon reviews but all of the options seem to require the user to latch them or get poor reviews.

If you can't find a lock that works, could you place a gate at the door? Should still be able to shut the door if gate is on the outside.

We used this toilet lock when my DC were toddlers. Worked so well most adults needed help opening it.
