But he loves the UA coolswitch shorts. Most of the boys that he plays sports with wear these as underwear. They are longer
    and more comfortable for DS.

See, I don't think he'd like these either because they are even more jammer-like. He doesn't like things "sporty boys" like because he doesn't do the regular sports like everyone else, including his brother. He's into fencing and archery and blacksmithing. I think he wants cotton, not a mix of athletic fabrics which make them too similar to swim jammers.

    I think I'll try H&M next.

Corie - my DH also listens to Stern and converted to Tommy John underwear two years ago. He loves them too but he's had issues with getting holes under the waist band. I'm okay with replacing them since underwear isn't optional and he really loves how they fit / feel just wanted to mention it to you since you recently got them for your DH

Uniqlo Men's supima cotton soft band boxer briefs. My son used to love Hannas and H&M but he's been wearing boys' Uniqlos exclusively for years now, and those men's ones are the same material, cut and waistband.

Good to know about Uniqlo! DS has decided he's too big for Hanna, though he has wirn them for years and years. We were at Uniqlo just yesterday – I didn't think to look at underwear but I made ds look at clothes because he is super skinny and I thought the clothes would fit him. He didn't like any clothes, unfortunately.

DS1 has these from Uniqlo but the waistband is exposed and not covered like the Hannas.

Most Uniqlo men's ones do not have a covered waistband, but the super soft band ones are covered.

So he hated both the regular and the cotton Under Armour boxerjocks. DH liked them though! 😂 😂

DS1 likes the medium Hanes Comfortsoft boxer briefs so we'll stick with those for now. Must be the covered waistband!

I don't see any on their website. Will check at the store.
