Check out 'magic nuudles' on Amazon. They would be fun, for the youngest two at least, and I bet the older kids would get into them too. They are kind of like Styrofoam and you get them damp(just barely!) and they stick, either to each other to build things, or to paper to make designs or pictures.

The most used craft supplies around here are: variety of colored/sparkley pipe cleaners, pony beads (go on elastic string or the pipe cleaners), felt, foam, construction paper, scotch tape, stickers. We have made lots of American Girl doll food with the foam and felt sheets. I also just got the girls a bunch of colored pencils and a Color Me Happy coloring book from Target and they have been loving that. They color while I read a chapter book to them in the evenings.

I had some of these coloring books when I was little and I absolutely LOVED them. I bought a few for my daughter
when she was younger and she also loved them.

I have kids ages 3, 5, 9 and 13. I feel like we have the basics at home. Scissors, glue, crayons, markers, some cheap colored pencils.

    What would you add?

    Thanks!
DD is 5, almost 6, and loves coloring with gel pens. I bought some on LD on Amazon (LolliZ brand, set of 48) and they've worked well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KO8UK80/.

I tend to stock up on other art supplies at the Dollar Tree or at the Dollar Spot at Target when I can: stickers, tape, washi tape, blank notepads, blank notecards, stackable pencils, adhesive notepads, and shuttle pens (huge hit!). We don't do too much painting here, but the stuff we do have is from Ikea: watercolor paints, paintbrushes, and smock. Smencils could be a fun addition! On a similar note, I just bought some of these scented gel pens from Barnes and Noble: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1223064417/.
