    Default Jeans and jean capris

I am in desperate need of new jeans and jean capris. I am not a huge fan of the skinny style; they always look way too tight on my thighs.

I have worn GAP jeans for years, but haven't found any there I like lately. Where do you purchase them?

    Any favorite brands or styles?

The best thing to do is hit a store like Nordstrom Rack and just grab all the jeans in your size, price and style and try them on. The jeans that fit me best are from brands I've never heard of.

    Default Jeans and jean capris

Love Eddie Bauer jeans (I got the rec from CRL who used to post here) and rec. the curvy style with stayfit (minimal stretch but still at least 90-92% cotton). I love that they come in a 32" regular inseam. I never would've thought, but in a whim one time I tried them. I ordered online, but did later try them as well at the outlet and they didn't fit as well.

I have also had good luck with Kut from the Kloth Diana skinny (from Stitch Fix, but Nordstrom carries this style) and I was able to size down from a 14 to a 12.

I have also had good luck with Lucky Brand Lolita skinny straight and skinny boot in a 14.

I haven't bought any jeans at The Gap in a few years but the last time I did (2012 or 2013, I think) I had to buy the long jeans and have them hemmed because the crotch was too short in the regular 31" inseam.

I struck out with capri style denim this year (as well as white and black denim).

I love jeans from American Eagle, they come in short and regular length, lots of styles. I prefer the skinny boot, it's not as wide as regular boot cut but not a skinny jean at all. I like that they have no chance of looking frumpy and the denim is so soft, but not expensive. Express also has some cute jeans as well.

I've purchased 3 pairs of jean capris from Banana Republic in the past 18 months and I love all of them!
